Summer Summer Summer Time!

We have had a busy week here by the beach! Last week Matt and I went to the Kenny Chesney concert on the beach! It was a whole lot of fun. We had a great time! We hadn't had a date night in a very long time so it was nice to get out and spend time together. Between my work schedule and Matt's we only ever have time to spend together after we both work for the entire day and our weekends are eaten up by work as well, so a little time together goes a long way!

This weekend we celebrated the Baptism of my Godson, Edward Vincent. This baby boy is the most amazing little thing in my life. He is such a good baby and I just love him so much! I wish I could see him more often, but the time I do get is incredible. He is growing so fast! Already 4 months old, giggling and eating sweet potatoes and sleeping through the night!!!!! Matt and I were able to take 2 days off to spend in Delaware with Stacy, Mike and Eddie as well as the entire Hennigan/Sinkinson crew! Saturday was spent preparing for yesterday's festivities while Sunday we spent celebrating our little Eddie!

Today has been full of thunderstorms! I didn't have to work today, so I have been able to stay home and enjoy the sound of the rain. Katie is so scared of thunder, I convinced Matt to leave her at home with me, so she wouldn't be at the office alone while it stormed...so today I have my shadow with me. She hasn't left my side!

More than just a memory

Yesterday, while cleaning up the memory card in my camera, I came across some pictures of Ryan. These pictures were from the last 2 summers  when we were all at Stacy and Mike's for 4th of July.  The times we spent together at the beach are some of my favorites.  The 6 of us didn't have the chance to all be together all that often but when we did, we had a blast!  On one occasion, Stacy Megan and I went to see Eclipse. We left the boys standing in the kitchen drinking beer and when we returned after the movie, they were still there, drinking beer in the kitchen!  We (the culd-a-sac) made memories that I am so grateful to have. I think about Ryan often, and I miss him. But I can't help but feel lucky to have the memories to help me through.

Spending the 4th on the Culd-a-Sac

I have another post about our weekend in DE. But I don't have the pictures ready yet, so stay tuned.

XOXO
